More About Us

The Shoreline ChoraleThe Shoreline Chorale was founded in 1980 under the auspices of the Shoreline Alliance for the Arts located in Guilford. The founding director was Raymond deLucia.
We are thrilled to have our seventh music director, Rachael Allen.  He brings a wealth of experience to every rehearsal, along with a contagious energy and sincere love for making music.
Shoreline meets every Wednesday. The Autumn season begins around Labor day and culminates with our concert in November. The Spring season starts with rehearsals in January and a performance in May. Our underlying theme, and our only requirements for membership, is that one must have a sincere love of singing and be willing to commit to regular attendance at rehearsals.

The Shoreline Chorale has a broad and varied repertoire. Below is a small sample of the hundreds of works the Chorale has performed over the years.
